Deputy Bledion Nallbati has reacted regarding the claim of submission of an amendment regarding the Fiscal Amnesty.

He has stated that he has not proposed any amendment that aims or foresees the pardon of corrupt officials who have been convicted or tried by the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.

Nallbati explained that the amendment he submitted aims to guarantee equality between male and female convicts, or the category of criminal offences, by increasing the beneficial measure for male convicts from 3 years to 4 years.

REACTION:
In the draft law on Amnesty, contrary to what the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party has misinformed, I have not proposed any amendment that aims or provides for the pardon of corrupt officials who have been convicted or tried by the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime. The amendment I submitted basically aims to guarantee equality between male and female convicts, or the category of criminal offences, by increasing the benefit measure for male convicts from 3 years to 4 years.

The amendment that is discussed for the repeal of point 2 of article 5 is a proposal or change made by the speaker of the SP, Mr. Plarent Ndreca. No deputy of the DP Parliamentary Group has voted in favor of the draft law in the Laws Committee.

Any mechanism, any misinformation or misuse, any attempt by the majority by misinforming the media is unacceptable and highlights that the amnesty proposed by them is not intended to include the layers that need it but is intended to be used as a shield for corrupt officials.

In the interest of transparency, I have attached the full amendment officially submitted by me.
