A 59-year-old man in Rome was arrested on charges of sexual violence and illegal distribution of images or videos with sexual content. It is suspected that he drugged, raped and photographed three women. The events allegedly took place between September 2022 and January 2023.
The investigation was born after a complaint from one of them. Images of the women he sexually abused were found on the 59-year-old's phone. The police searched his apartment, where they found and confiscated a package of sedatives and the phone through which two other acts of violence were committed.
Some of these images were sent by the suspect to his friends.
