Vladimir Zhirinovsky: If I were President, I would bomb Ukraine
Member of the Russian Parliament and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky has called for Russia to invade Ukraine.
Zhirinovsky, who is known for his radical views, told the TV channel, "Channel One" if he would be President. According to him, the bombing of Ukraine should take place between December 31 and January 1 at 4 in the morning when "everyone is drunk". "Someone has to punish them, scare them", he declared.
Earlier, the Chechen leader, Ramzan Kadyroz, has declared that he is ready to help in the annexation of Ukraine. Kadyrov justifies the invasion of Ukraine by saying that it should be annexed to Russia as it is its territory.
The United States of America and its European allies accuse Russia of threatening a possible invasion of Ukraine.
