Ukrainian forces have announced that they have made significant progress against Russian positions in the occupied southern region of Kherson.
"In the Kherson region, the Armed Forces have liberated 8 km of occupied territory," the Azov Territorial Defense unit announced. Dnipro.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces launched a counterattack at several vantage points in the north last weekend, and since then there has been little information about the operation.
For their part, Ukrainian forces have declared that they have recaptured a number of villages in the northern part of Kherson.
Also earlier, the head of the regional state administration of Kherson, Genardi Laguta, said that 20 settlements have been liberated.
