Putin: We will gradually cut off exports to Europe

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he is considering the possibility of channeling Russian energy exports mainly to Eastern countries. At a press conference from the Kremlin, Putin said he would gradually cut off oil and gas imports to Europe, sending them to other markets.

According to the head of the Kremlin, European countries are trying to completely stop imports from Russia of raw materials for energy production, as they want to destabilize the Russian market. However, according to him, Russia will manage to replace this income. Putin said that Moscow is also in negotiations with friendly African and Latin American countries that are interested in Russian oil and gas.

Earlier, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehamer said Putin had told him he was ready to cooperate with international justice for what the West considers war crimes in Ukraine. However, he said that Putin had not given him details on the way of cooperation. Nehamer, the first European leader to visit Moscow this week since the start of the Russian offensive in Ukraine, said the meeting with Putin was far from optimistic.
